In December 18th, the American business magazine of Forbes Published an article about the 38 cheapest places to travel, each one suggested by an expert or influencer.
The writer says that she asked travel wizards to introduce their favorite places to travel on budget in 2019. While experts like the Global Business Travel Association are predicting that travel prices will rise sharply in 2019, you don’t need to worry.
Iran is in their list as suggested by Patricia Stone founder of Global Adventuress. She has traveled to 164 countries, seeking out unique, off-the-beaten path destinations.
She admires Iran’s hospitality and its great history. She believes that Iranian people are the friendliest in the world. Patricia Stone point to some of Iran’s highlights:
Nice hotels as well as traditional houses, ancient Persian cities, palaces, mosques, 13th century bazaars, elaborate gardens, squares, elegant mansions, baths and 19 UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Persepolis, the architecture, the landscape is diverse with jungles, waterfalls, oasis gardens and deserts.
She also mentioned that rug shopping and locally made Kilims and Carpets are the other highlights of Iran specially Isfahan city. Taste of traditional dishes like fesenjan (Persian pomegranate chicken), ghormeh sabzi (Iran’s popular stew with greens and beans), tadeeg (crispy rice flavored with saffron) and lavash (flat bread) were a nice memory for her.
She recommends this cheap trip to solo, girlfriends, couples and families as her experience. It is believed that Iran’s safety is a dominant issue which makes tourists love Iran.
