Iran Easing Entry Rules;
No Passport Stamps for Foreign Travelers

Some people worry that stamped passport in Iran will cause problems for their future travels to US and other countries. Are you willing to come to Iran but  concerned  about Iran visa stamp problem consequences?

The President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani asked the Interior Ministry to arrange to waive visa stamping or marking the passports of foreign nationals visiting the country, according to the report. The decision aims to facilitate travels to the country without fear of possible US penalties about Iran passport stamp. According to the report, Iran welcomed some 7.8 million foreign nationals in 2018 , which shows a 52.5 percent of increase compared to 2017.

According to Mehrnews The head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization announced that passports of foreign tourists will not be stamped in Iran. As of August 2018, the government of Iran has started to issue visa stickers on separate pieces of paper. And now Iran is one of the countries that doesn’t stamp passports.

This means the visa sticker is not attached to the tourist passports, neither are the visa stamp in passport any more.
The travelers are only required to carry the paper (E-Visa paper or Visa Grant Notice) with their passport during their stay in Iran.
Then there will be no problem with Iran stamp for entering USA.
